Set a distinct record by successfully replacing the hip joint for a 103 year  old lady, Edith Dewhurst at UK. She was the oldest lady ever known to undergo this surgery, which made her to walk and be independent.

Made 22-yr-old Sarala who was wheelchair bound because of crippling rheumatoid arthritis to walk after 4 years of immobility by performing bilateral knee replacement and both hip surgeries at same time.

Performed a hip replacement in a 9-yr-old boy, Liam, who was again wheelchair bound because of florid rheumatoid arthritis.

Performed bilateral hip replacement in a single sitting for Mr.Gurumoorthy who had fused hips due to ankylosing spondylitis.

Successfully reimplanted many amputated hand due to sickle injury & machine injury and made the hand working again.

Published more than 15 original research articles in National & International journals and has written two theses for MS Ortho and MCh Ortho exam. Presented more than 50 papers in National & International conferences and gave various guest lectures in seminars & conferences.

Dr.C.Rex has won Johnson & Johnson prize for the best paper presentation in North West England Registrar's meet; Norah Walker prize in MCh Ortho exam; Alan Glass Paediatric prize on Northwest Orthopaedic Association autumn meeting and has won many first prizes in Orthopaedic quiz competitions. He has attended innumerable courses. Selected for AO fellowship in Trauma Surgery at Homburg, Germany.

Written a book on "Clinical Assessment and Examination in Orthopaedics" for orthopaedics trainees.
