Non-union of the bone can be treated with many type of surgical procedures in most of the orthopaedic centers, but treating the infected non-union is the time consuming as well as challenging procedure. Decision making at right time according to the status of infection is very important in treating infected non-unions. Most of the patients need LRS (limb reconstruction system) to regain the limb length which is destroyed by infection. So special skill & instrumentation is needed to beat the infection and achieve the healing.
