Dr. P. Preetha Anand is a dedicated Maxillofacial Surgeon with expertise in facial trauma and fractures, cleft and congenital facial deformity correction, orthognathic (jaw correction) surgery, TMJ (Jaw Joint) Disorders & Facial Pain, rhinoplasty, facial aesthetics (Genioplasty, Dimpleplasty, Scar Revision), dental implants, the management of facial and oral cysts and benign tumours, and facial reconstructive surgery.

She received her postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, one of India’s premier medical institutions. She was awarded the prestigious Ashwini Award as the MDS Batch Topper (2021–2024).

She further pursued advanced training in Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery through Cleft Children International (CCI), Switzerland (FCLPS).

With a strong academic foundation and comprehensive clinical training, she is committed to delivering precise, evidence-based, and patient-centred surgical care.

With comprehensive training and advanced fellowship specialization, Dr. Preetha Anand brings extensive surgical experience, supported by a personal logbook documenting 370+ major jaw, facial, and oral surgeries performed as the operating surgeon, as well as assisted, across institutional and private practice settings

Chief & Head of Department, Maxillofacial Surgery, Rex Multispeciality Hospital, Coimbatore.
She also serves as a Senior Visiting Consultant in Maxillofacial Surgery for hospitals in Kottakkal and Calicut, Kerala.

INTERNATIONAL CLINICAL EXPERIENCE

Invited to participate in clinical and surgical activities at the Bella Risu Medical Centre Foundation, Nairobi, Kenya.
At Bella Risu Medical Centre Foundation, Nairobi, Kenya, she performed Primary Rhinoplasty for a child with a congenital nasal deformity and Cleft Palate Surgery for a child, contributing to comprehensive cleft and craniofacial care.
Worked alongside Dr. Martin W. Kamau, CEO and Co-Founder of the Bella Risu Foundation, gaining valuable exposure to advanced cleft lip surgery and multidisciplinary cleft care.
